I’d rather be His than have riches untold;말할 수 없는 재물보다 주님의 사람이 되길 원하네;
I’d rather have Jesus than houses or lands;집이나 땅보다 주 예수를 더 원하네;
I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand못 박히신 그 손에 이끌리길 더 원하네
Than to be the king of a vast domain넓은 나라의 왕이 되는 것보다
Or be held in sin’s dread sway;죄의 무서운 권세에 사로잡히는 것보다
I’d rather have Jesus than anything이 세상 그 무엇보다도 예수님을 원하네
This world affords today.오늘날 이 세상이 줄 수 있는 모든 것보다
I’d rather have Jesus than men’s applause;사람들의 박수보다 예수님을 더 원하네;
I’d rather be faithful to His dear cause;그분의 거룩한 뜻에 충성하길 원하네;
